This full time position includes caring for pets, obtaining a medical history, educating owners on pet care, monitoring anesthesia, giving injections, filling medications, selling dog food, making appointments and a variety of other tasks. Requirements include a love of animals, confidence when around them, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. We are happy to train the right person. Starting pay is $16-18/hr. Duties include answering the phone, scheduling appointments, selling/lifting pet food, refilling medications, knowing when to pass questions on to veterinarian/technician, checking in patients, and pet restraint.
